Whores and Job seekers

Now, if you have never had an opportunity to observe the characteristics and traits of a Whore, or a Job seeker before; you probably wont understand what I am on about, so beware. But again if you had the opportunity to play GTA San Andreas, you will know better. And also don't use your dimwits and make silly implications about me. 

It has occured to me earlier, and again recently, that there are many striking similarities between Whores and Job Seekers. 

What? Dont aggreee with me? OK. I guess I have to take the resposibility to prove my point. Before I fully convince you, which is inevitable, I have to make it clear that I am not writing this in resentment or in retaliation.

1. Dress code: The whore and the job seeker dress for their clients. They have a dress code which might seem very different, but gimme a chance to tell you why they are very similar. Their attire is specifically meant to attract attention to the right spot. The Clean Pressed Shirts and Double Windsor Knotted ties, Belts-match-boots and all that crap. Similarly the whore has a checklist to follow, heels, the excessive makeup and the undersized clothes etc. They are basically intended to serve the same purpose: Attract attention. Attention of Clients. Employers and Pervs. 

2. The Smile: Smile is part of a clever body language  that the whore and the job seeker have developed. Its meant to make you( Imagine for the for a while that you are the client) feel approachable. To make you welcome them. Its not any smile, now is it? You don't smile like the job seeker or the hooker on a daily basis. If you do, leave me alone. 

3. The Tone: No, not the skin tone you pervs , am talking about the tone in which they talk. Its deceptive. The whore might sound different from the JS (Job Seeker) but understand the hidden intention. They fake it. Surprising I know, but true. The JS wants you to think that it(the JS) is very confident and Honest but thats exactly what its not. The Whore wants you to think that its cute and romantic.....yeah right. See..... deceit is common in both.


4. The Gestures: Very important. Whores and Job seekers use gestures to convey their intentions. The posture, the way they move their hands about and where they rest their hands finally are all well rehearsed. 


And finally the Pitch: This is when they make you want their services. Striking similarities again. They both proudly display their "assets and embellishments", certificates and bodice respectively, and demand your appreciation. If you fall for it, the price negotiations are next and the deal is sealed. 


I know you are going to call me a cynical bastard, and that, its a crooked way of looking at things, but you cant deny one underlying truth. Truth, that both the Whore and the Job seeker are trying to sell themselves. Thats a truth. Don't jump up and say that they are not the same. Selling body or not, weighing these two on a scale of respect and dignity is all rubbish. They are selling themselves, to be exploited by others. 


I know its not the case with all job seeking ordeals, but, it is in most. If you are still convinced that the both  are no way comparable, you are either blind or retarded. But, because its my god given resposibility to enlighten you, I shall try further in my next post.
